PROFESSIONAL CAREER AND EDUCATION
I earned a BS degree in economics and mathematics from The University of Southern Indiana in 1974. My initial goal was to become an organic chemist; however, I started a graphic design studio at the age of twenty-four. I have always had a lifelong passion for art and design, yet only attended one art-design class. Additional education in nutrition, holistic health, and Reiki.
I specialized in technical advertising and marketing for most of my studio-art career. I owned and managed a graphic arts studio for a quarter of a century. I worked with several national firms to design advertising and marketing campaigns, develop corporate identities, and write quality assurance (ISO 9000) plans. In 2019, I finished my science-fiction space comedy paperback titled The Chronicles of Zu and Lu, Vibes Gone Berjerk! Many illustrations and paintings have scenes from this graphic novel.
